* Transition lenses will look like sunglasses in well lit areas - contact your photographer in advance for options *

* Choose clothing that doesn't easily wrinkle through the day *
* Check for pet hair, food crumbs, or stains on clothing *
* Send hair supplies to school with your child if quick touch-ups will be needed *
* Teachers will help with fixing hair, cleaning food from faces, etc *

* Use the mirror and wipes to check your face for food, dirt, and other muck *
* Think of a joke or something silly *
* Be yourself and have fun *

* Photos will be loaded into an online gallery system on this website *
* When photos are ready, your family will receive an email with the necessary links *

Will all of the students be photographed on photo day?

No, only the students who have signed up for photos will participate in photo day. 


What is the cost? 

A multi-pose package with the digital downloads is $56 plus gst. ($58.80) This will need to be paid to the school.
After the photos are loaded to the gallery, you will be able to purchase additional prints if you like, starting at $14.

What time will photos be done at?

The exact time of each child's photos is not set. We will be working to have all photos done in the morning.



How many poses are in the multi-pose package? 

The number of images will depend on the child. I aim for 4-5 images, but for some children it may only be 2-3 if they are feeling camera shy. 

What will the images look like? 

We will be working with the natural environment of the school and schoolgrounds. Ideally, the weather will be lovely and we will be able to make use of the gardens. If it is very cold, rainy, or windy we will use one of the classroom spaces. As we are working with a wide range of developmental stages and personalities, I can't guarantee what your child's specific pose is going to look like. My goal is to have them feeling relaxed and comfortable. If you have additional questions about this, don't hesitate to call me prior to booking.


Do you do touch-ups on images? 

I will remove small temporary blemishes that distract from the image. If I'm unsure it a spot is a bug bite or a permanent mark, I will leave it. Feel free to reach out if I've missed something. 
I will not be editing frizzy hair, wrinkled clothes, etc. I do not edit birth marks, freckles, moles, vitiligo, etc on children.


What if my child is away that day?

If you have planned holidays on photo day, I'm sorry that we will miss you! Please do not book in through the school if you plan to be away that week. I would be pleased to photograph your child at my studio in Salmon Arm. 

If your child is away due to illness on photo day, you will receive a refund through the school. 


Will retakes be available? ​

If your child has an off day and photos just don't go well for them, you can expect to hear from me directly so that we can make a plan for retakes. 
If you receive your image gallery and you are truly unhappy with the images, do NOT add them to your cart! Contact your photographer directly so that we can discuss. Once you have checked out with your images, refund considerations will not be available. 

Due to this being a small group booking, it is likely that any retakes will need to happen at the studio, outside of school hours.​


What happens if I book but the minimum participation numbers aren't met?

The school will put a call out for anyone who has forgot to register. 
If photo day needs to be cancelled due to lack of participation, force majeure, or circumstances on my end, all registrations will be refunded through the school.


How will my child's images be used? 

That's up to you! When you complete checkout for your downloads, you'll be prompted to fill out image use permissions. This will allow you to provide me with permission to use your child's likeness. You can also opt to have these images kept private. Until I have consent from you, my default is to keep images private.

What happens if I miss the print order deadline or forget to download my images?

Your image downloads will be available for three months. Please download them and back them up to an independent media source. Requests for archive retrieval after three months are not guaranteed and may incur a fee. 
Print orders after the group order deadline may incur additional fees as well as shipping fees.
